FAQ

Do I need to leave NetSuite to create my consignment and print labels?

No, all consignment creation and printing of labels is done natively in NetSuite. This also includes storing the consignment label PDF should you need to reprint or access again

Can I track and monitor my consignments in NetSuite?

Yes, on your Sales Order Transaction screen once the consignment is created, you will have a hyper link to track that specific consignment using the icon ‘Track Shipment’ option

Can I have prefilled package types in NetSuite to prepopulate Item Types for my despatch team?

Yes, in the Packages screen when creating a consignment in NetSuite, you have the option to create prefill package types. Eg. Large Carton. With this, you can have the length, width and height prefill to save manual key entry

Can I quote a Sales Orders for an estimate on Freight charge before I select or determine what carrier to use?

Yes, before processing a sales order, in NetSuite you have the option to ‘Estimate Shipping Cost’ based on the item package types set for the products to be sent. Additionally,  the user also has the ability to select ‘Least Cost Routing’ which will by default select the cheapest carrier option.

Will the NetSuite integration allow me to calculate Residential Surcharges if my receiver is not a business address?

Yes, when creating a consignment natively in NetSuite for a residential address customer, you can select a tick box for ‘Residential Address’. If this is also setup at a customer level, this will flow through automatically at consignment creation and quoting
